Solar eclipses are often the bringers of bad news but sometimes the major events don't happen exactly on the date of the eclipse - instead it is the day when a planet passes over the degree at which the eclipse occurred.

The solar eclipse on 17 February occurs at 28 degrees of Aquarius and Mercury hit this degree last Friday (6 February) while Venus is there today (9 February) - no wonder the political atmosphere in the UK is so charged at present.

Another date to watch (apart from the day of the eclipse itself ) is 1 March when Mars will be positioned at 28 degrees of Aquarius - followed two days later by a Lunar Eclipse.
